In this study, it has been investigated the prevalence rate of depression, panic disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder in the patients with Type II diabetes mellitus. 64 patients with Type II diabetes mellitus wereapplied. Sociodemographic informationform, Beck depression inventory, and the diagnostic criteria of anxiety disorders of DSM-III-R. The prevalence rate of depression, panic disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder was found in the 25 %, 18.75 % and 50 % of the patients, respectively.

Bu çalışmada Tip Il diabetes mellituslu hastalarda depresyon, panik bozukluğu ve yaygın anksiyete bozukluğunun yayg ınhk oranları araştırılm ıştır. Tip II diabetes mellituslu 64 hastaya sosyodemografik bilgi formu, Beck depresyon ölçeği ve DSM-III-R anksiyete bozuklukları tanı ölçütleri uygulandı. Depresyon, panik bozukluğu ve yaygın anksiyete bozukluklarının yaygınlıkoranları sırasıyla % 25, % 18.75 ve % 50 olarak bulundu.
