Abstract
In this article, therapy resistant depression has been discussed as a concept. Finally, it has been concluded that the concept of therapy resistance should be specified in terms of the selected therapy modality. In this contex, under our regular practice, we have included 37 patients into the study, diagnosis made according to the ICD 10 criteria of depressive episode (F32), and evaluated their response and resistance rate to the amitriptyline

Bu çalışmada, depresyonun tedaviye direnci bir kavram olarak tartışılm ıştır. Sonuçta direnç durumunun tedavi modalitesine spesifik olarak tanunlanmas ı gerektiği yorumuna varılmıştır. Bu bağlamda günlük klinik uygulamada kendi doğal koşullarımızda, 1CD 10 tanı kriterlerine göre F32 depresif nöbet tanısı alan 37 hastanın amitriptiline uygun süre ve dozda cevap verirliliği ve direnç durumunun bir değerlendirilmesi yapılm ıştır.
